Mabamba as a village is home to a variety of birds species. As part of its mission, Mabamba Lodge celebrates nature and continues to participate in various avenues relating to bird-life conservation. The development of Mabamba Lodge started with gardening and the plantation of trees 7 years ago and continues to carry out its main goal of safeguarding vital habitats and restoring biodiversity. In March 2022, we planted 100 bird friendly local trees in order to attract a wide variety of bird species, additionally with the aim to promote & celebrate local tree species.
The entrance fee of 5000UGX ($1.34)
continues to support our tree planting mission for a sustainable future and a need for stronger communities. Through our missions we aim to inspire a positive and meaningful guest experience through the understanding of how to hold a loving and interconnected relationship with nature and with the surrounding communities.
